Bedroom and Bath

      We have guessed that this room, with its magnificent floor was perhaps the master suite or Mr. Bartlett's room because of its private adjoining bath. Notice the "crazy quilt" on the bed, dating from 1878. It was a gift from the couple whose marriage certificate hangs above the bed, to their grandchild upon his marriage. This is a fine example of a quilt from that era and in wonderful Condition as Well. Bathroom was probably added while the Bartlett's owned the home. Mostly made of white marble, the bath would have also held a tub. Some of the furniture is from the Mildred Cook Estate, some on loan from other members.
